Jessica earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas State University in 2020, combining her lifelong love of teaching with her belief in holistic, whole-person care. Before becoming a physical therapist, she practiced law for ten years after graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law, giving her a unique perspective on communication, advocacy, and patient empowerment.
As a clinician, Jessica specializes in pelvic health for both men and women, with advanced training in bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum care, chronic pelvic pain, prolapse, post-prostatectomy recovery, and pessary management. She is passionate about helping people understand and trust their bodies’ capacity for healing—seeing every session as an opportunity to educate, empower, and restore confidence.
Jessica and her spouse moved to Alaska by request through a military assignment and quickly fell in love with the Fairbanks community. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she’s found that the cold and snow are easy to embrace thanks to Alaska’s warmth of spirit, strong community, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure.
Outside of work, Jessica loves spending time with her spouse and their two dogs, Mako and Mongo. Having grown up scuba diving, she does miss the beach, but tries to travel as much as she can. She'll forever be a Bama fan (Roll Tide!).
Jessica loves being part of Summit because of its genuine, collaborative team and the shared commitment to helping patients feel seen, understood, and supported in their journey to wellness.
